ACEM (The Association of Electronics Companies in Moldova) is a non-profit organization to represent the interest of its members and to increase the competitiveness and development of the electronics industry, including microelectronics, nanotechnologies, embedded systems, software, research and development (R&D) in the Republic of Moldova through viable partnerships between private companies, trade unions, public authorities and other governmental organizations nationally and internationally.

Moldova Electronics Forum (MEF)


The purpose of the forum is to develop an open dialogue with the Moldova Electronics Industry stakeholders on the trends, digitalization opportunities, development and challenges in the Engineering, Electronics and EMS industry in the context of EU integration, and geopolitical developments. The forum will bring together national and international representatives from the electronics industry, decision-makers and local companies, to present the electronics industry in Moldova, the capabilities and the potential of the Moldovan electronics industry to contribute to the digitalization of the Economy.

IoT and Electromobility are the main topics bringing together industry representatives from Moldova and abroad. The organizers aim to convey the message that Moldova is open for international business cooperation and willing to increase its presence on the local market with its own solutions and integrate into the global value chain.

The forum will have an important panel on HR development and industry stakeholders' experience sharing.

MOLDOVA ELECTRONICS INDUSTRY OVERVIEW

Over the past few years, Moldova's electronic business landscape has witnessed a notable transformation, as evidenced by key indicators in the corporate sector. The data paints a compelling picture of the country's economic evolution, highlighting both continuity and change. From 2018 to 2022, the sector associated with electronic sector of the page or click on some items in the Common Objects-section to add more images, titles and texts to your page has experienced significant shifts in the realm of active companies, employment figures and turnover. In 2022, the sector associated with the electronics industry was represented by 210 active companies generating sales of EUR 377 million and a total number of 13.6 thousand employees.
